The Mall Of America

The Mall of America is the largest mall in the US. It was established in 1992 and is located in Bloomington, Minnesota. The Triple Five Group own the mall. It was opened to the public on August 11, 1992. Over 42 million people, roughly eight times the population of Minnesota, visit the mall each year. The Mall Of America has over 11,000 permanent staff and employs 2,000 more under contract during peak seasons. The world’s largest indoor park, Nickelodeon Universe, is located in this mall. An aquarium with 100 sharks and more than 4,500 sea creatures is also a major attraction. The mall has 520 stores which generate more than USD 1.9 billion in sales.
